Juggling Multiple Businesses Is A Bad Idea

Here is what I find on many forums and home business social sites. Most people are juggling multiple businesses in hopes of one of them leading to financial security. Your time would better spent on focusing on one business. People that aren’t making enough money in one business tend to jump around to multiple businesses. I am telling this is a mistake and you will almost never do as well as if you got laser focused on your primary business. Look for companies that are backed well financially, have good corporate leadership and field leadership with free training, comp plan should be generous and fair. Is the company growing every year? Is the product unique and reasonably priced?

If you start a business with a reputable company and people are making money by sponsoring and moving products then it’s a business that you can make a lot of money with long term. The business model in network marketing/mlm is solid and is one of the best opportunities you can start on a shoe string budget but 95% of the time the problem isn’t with a company it’s actually with YOU.

Ask yourself these questions:

Am I willing to put in the work in Net(work) marketing?
Am I treating it like a big business?
Am I working my business everyday or am I shuffling papers and organizing my desk acting like i’m working?
Am I gaining the skills I need to be better because I know my weaknesses?
Can I pickup the phone with confidence and call my prospects?

Think twice about trying to run multiple “businesses” at once. You’ll find many of the businesses you’re toying with aren’t worth the time or effort in building and won’t be around in a year from now.

Stop the “get rich quick mentality” and build long term.

11 Million Americans Are Jobless and Are Turning To Home Businesses

It’s no joke and its getting very serious. There are 11 million Americans that are jobless and it’s getting worse. What do you do when your job has been outsourced or has simply been done away with? More and more people are turning to home businesses but once they get involved for a few weeks or months they realize that it’s a whole other beast. Finding people to sell products to and recruit into a home business certainly isn’t for everybody. In fact about 95% of people hate selling and don’t feel comfortable doing it. So why do it ? What if you could attract people to you (aka- attraction marketing) and have people buying your products and joining you and your business without hassling people and feeling uncomfortable doing it. The people that master this technique are the ones that will benefit the most from this massive migration of home business seekers. If you are going to jump on board don’t do it blindly do it right the first time. My first suggestion is for you to read this manifesto. This will set your head straight so you can drive in a straight line towards your success.
